Screaming Neon Red

Screaming Neon Red, bred by Ping Lim. I have only had this rose for about a month. It seems to start out a brighter red and then fade a little. I saw a bunch of these at a store and in mass they can be really bright. One in a garden it seems to be more agreeable than a mass. There doesn't seem to be a lot of information on this rose, but for more information: https://www.helpmefind.com/gardening/l.php?l=2.76519.2

Oneto Home Saffron

Found Tea rose. I purchased it in 2017 at the Sacramento City Cemetery. For the two summers that I had it in Salem it stayed about a foot and a half tall. Unfortunately it did not survive the move from ground to pot. For more information on this rose:

Happy accident

This is a picture from a couple of roses that I grew in my Salem Oregon garden. I no longer have either rose. The rose in the front is Purple Tiger by Jack Christensen, introduced in 1991. The rose in background is Tricolore de Flandre, bred in 1844. It was by complete accident that these two roses were put next to each other. However the fact that Purple Tiger is a repeat blooming rose and Tricolore de Flandre is not it is nice that the stripes and purple are continued on.

For more information on either rose you can go here:

Ellen Tofflemire

Ellen Tofflemire, bred by Paul Barden

This is the first summer this plant has bloomed in my Missouri garden. Unfortunately I didn't get a lot of blooms because the rabbits ate several of the canes right before they bloomed.

Ellen Tofflemire is one of the new introductions to the Gallica class. You can find more information on this link:

Marianne

Marianne, bred by Paul Barden circa 2000

Marianne is a new rose to one of the old garden rose classes, the Gallicas. It's parents are Duchesse de Montebello and Abraham Darby. I have only had this rose since 2019 so I don't have a ton of information on this rose, I am instead going to link to Paul Barden's webpage about it.
