A look at single, semi-double and double roses
Usually people think of roses as big full flowers. But they weren't always like that. Single roses are prevalent amongst the species roses. Single, semi-double, and double roses are special on their own. You can see the video about single, semi-double and double roses here:

The number of petals have been given names of single, semi-double, double, full and very full.
Single: 4-8 petals
Semi-double: 9-16 petals
Double: 17-25 petals
Full: 26-40 petals
Very Full: 41+ petals

Spotlight on Safrano (Spotlight on Roses series #8)
Safrano is a tea rose from 1839. I have grown it in both Oregon and Missouri. I have found, that for me it is more winter hardy than Monsieur Tillier. You can see more info on Safrano here:

Spotlight on Abraham Darby (Spotlight on Roses series #6)
Abraham Darby, a 1985 David Austin rose. I have grown it in both Missouri and Georgia. I didn't have it in my garden in Oregon, but it does grow there, and was in the rose garden at Avery Park in Corvallis when I last visited in 2019. You can view the video here:
