This is the rose that got me into old garden roses. It is a Gallica rose. The breeder and origin of this roses is unfortunately lost to time. Due to the heat it wound up being pinker in Missouri than it was in Oregon where I first grew it. A rose worth having, and my favorite rose. You can see the video here:
